LA SCARPETTA TRATTORIA
We opened our doors on Valentines day 2013 and since then have continued to to provide one of the finest dining experiences in Margaret River. 
 
Owned and operated by Daniele Manai and Thomas Gabriel the pair have over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry between them and have worked together in restaurants in Ireland, Italy and Sydney before coming to Margaret River to open
La Scarpetta. Going against all modern, minamilist influences in food culture today they wanted to provide simple, honest dishes that would satisfy the healthiest appitite in a traditional Italian style. 

HEAD CHEF  Andrea D'Ambrosio

Andrea joined our team over two years ago and since then has lent his Southern Italian cooking skills to our kitchen. His influence can be tasted throughout our menu and under his guidance has been heavily involved in the apprentice training and development programme, mentoring young apprentices and passing on his experience and expertise.

VENUE MANAGER  Meri De Cesero

For anyone who has visited us before you will most likely have met Meri as she runs and operates the venue and is always entertaining guests. She has been with us since we opened back in 2013. With a diploma in hospitality services from Italy she has headed up our training programme and leads our floor team and service staff.
